We are seeking an engineer with appropriate experience in analog circuit design and with the imagination, interest and overall problem-solving ability to make strong contributions to the conception and development of new products.
Essential Functions:
- Perform and participate in the electrical, mechanical and thermal design of high-efficiency power conversion products, including dc-dc converters, dc-ac inverters and custom-designed switching power supplies.
- Collaborate with other members of the technical staff to conceptualize new products, optimize design/production methods and resolve complex problems or issues as they arise.
- Provide mentorship to other technical staff-in-training
- Work with production personnel to shepherd new products into the manufacturing environment
- Provide technical support for marketing and customer service efforts.
Necessary Qualifications/Attributes:
- Four-year or post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or commensurate educational background
- Solid-state power conversion or analog circuit design expertise
- Self-starting, reliable and creative
- Ability to work in a highly flexible manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications/Attributes:
- 5+ years of relevant circuit design experience
- Good understanding of mechanical/thermal packaging
- Well-versed in high-frequency magnetics design
