We are seeking a technically adept marketing/sales manager with the analytical skills to direct the day-to-day activities of a small in-house staff tasked with marketing Wilmore’s capabilities and selling its products to new and existing customers.
Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership to the Marketing/Sales staff through mentoring, training, and managing the activities of the team.
- Become actively involved in daily operations and marketing/sales efforts as needed to further the development of new markets and recognition of new product opportunities.
- Manage the company’s customer relationship functions, product cost/pricing reviews and contractual review processes.
- Develop, organize, prioritize, and assign marketing tasks in coordination with other senior managers.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and procurement functions of the company to meet customer expectations and contractual obligations.
Required Qualifications/Attributes:
- Four-year degree in an Engineering or Physics discipline (or commensurate technical experience)
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Skilled in analytical thinking – collecting, analyzing and structuring information from a wide perspective to identify market opportunities matching the company’s core strengths
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/Attributes:
- Experience in the conceptualization/development of business-to-business marketing plans
- 5+ years of small-team management experience
- Basic knowledge of solid-state power conversion principles
